Elisabeth Lucy Baeten is a versatile artist with a sharp sense of humor and a knack for storytelling. As a dedicated mom, known for her keen sense of style, she seeks a home that’s practical and beautiful. As she embarks on the journey of designing her new family home, we couldn’t think of a better partner to showcase what ‘Styling at Home’ truly means. Elisabeth’s vibrant personality, authentic approach, and creative flair perfectly align with our brand, making her the perfect partner for this exciting collaboration.
The Project
Elisabeth and her family are moving into a spacious 1980s home filled with bold, authentic elements, including a striking marble floor. The design challenge lies in preserving these original features while creating a contemporary and inviting interior. With such a distinctive floor, our goal is to bring calmness and harmony to the space, transforming it into a relaxing and cohesive environment.
The living room - a long rectangular space - adds another layer of complexity. The previous layout emphasized the room’s length with two sitting areas positioned side by side near the front façade. Our approach focuses on creating balance, warmth, and functionality, ensuring the design complements both the unique architectural details and the family’s modern lifestyle.

We’ve chosen light, natural tones to harmonize with the prominent flooring while incorporating walnut accents to add warmth.

A Protexx-treated sofa ensures a stain-resistant and kids-proof seating option, perfect for everyday life.

An “in-between” pouf connects the two seating areas, adding flow and a playful touch.

A 3-meter oval dining table invites cozy dinner parties, paired with walnut-colored chairs for a stylish yet welcoming vibe.

From structured, low-pile rugs (ideal for floor heating!) to linen fabrics, the space will exude depth and personality.
